In a groundbreaking BBC Documentary, Final Pixel created the iconic landmark of London, Covent Garden, in complete 3D in Unreal Engine. Our Virtual Art Department designed the virtual sets from archive material and stylised according to artistic direction to represent the architectural handwriting across 4 eras. These full 360 environments allowed the Director to locate the virtual camera at any point he wished, giving a point and shoot documentary filmmaking approach in Virtual Production for the first time in a BBC documentary. Final Pixel ran the On Set Virtual Production at an LED wall stage near London.
